Call of Juarez is a First Person Shooter for PC, inspired from the greatest movies of the Western genre. It is the first 'serious' and the most realistic adaptation of the genre. Developed by Techland Studio, the game draws on the major themes of the American Wild West through confrontation between the two principal emblematic characters. While the game focuses on a high level of realism with its incredible graphics, environments and overall look, the gameplay has not been neglected, and players will enjoy a great gaming experience with duels and shoot-outs, wild horseback antics and a great Western atmosphere. Hey there folks! I've been posting more articles on Bound in Blood page lately, but now I see there are alot of more addons added by LithTechGuru and these addons are amazing! They bring back old Custom made maps by the community members that you can play on Multiplayer and Singleplayer. Check out some of them.

Your village has been attacked by some bandits. It's time to revenge!


  • Put the unzipped map to: call of juarez/data/mapscustomNOTE: The map might not work in the documents folder, put it to the data folder where your game (coj.exe) is located
  • To play this level select in the main menu: Load - Custom Missions - Vengeance
  • This map cannot be played on DX10 version!
  • Collectibles can be collected in the first part of the map - there are no collectibles in the town!

You are on your way home with a couple of friends from the army. It is a beautiful sunny day, so you are making a short stop at the abandoned mining settlement. Exploring this area sounds like a good idea. What could possibly go wrong?


How to play


  • Just put the Data31.pak file to Call of Juarez folder, where all other Data.pak files are located (the same folder with coj.exe file)
  • To play this level select in the main menu: Load - Custom Missions - The Hunt
  • IMPORTANT NOTES: There are two chapters that might require some changes in settings - Lake Valley and BlackBurn
  • Lake Valley - you might experience crashes while loading, to prevent this, change "Texture quality" to "High" in the game settings (in main menu)
  • BlackBurn - this map is very very very dark. If you can't see anything at all, go to settings and increase the brightness (increase by one point should be enough)

Some chapters are quite difficult, so get ready for some challenging skill tests!
This mission might not work on DX10 properly.

I'm thinking about starting an additional channel for COJ 1 however idk tbh would need to learn the game. There are just more stuff to do. Or just post it on my channel for Bound in Blood
