The first official update to the Ballin alpha will be available on Desura later this week. Here's a preview of what you can expect from Patch 0.4!
The most exciting feature of this update is saved progression. Ballin will now track and save your level completion and star collection progress. For the time being, this functionality can be toggled off in the Options menu. You can also reset your progress. Below is a screenshot of the new Options menu.
Five new levels are also included in this update. Two of these levels continue the Amber world, while the other three are part of the Alpha Level Test. The Alpha Level Test will gather feedback from players like you on which levels should or shouldn't be included in the final fifty. These levels, color coded for the world in which they could potentially belong to, are available in the new alpha level selection screen. This will ensure that the final version of the game ships with the best fifty levels.
