Arkanius is a 2D Retro-Styled Fantasy MMORPG. It is currently in development, however, already has many features. There is a very interactive and deep quest system, a weather system, player housing, leveled and experience based skills including cooking, woodcutting, mining, tailoring, leatherworking, blacksmithing, fishing, harvesting, alchemy, crafting, carpentry and enchanting. The player can fight solo or in parties, participate in social events including last-man-standing PvP events on distant islands and much more. There is magic, projectile and melee weapons. The characters have their equipment paperdolled in harmony with each other, equipment including shoulder armour, cloaks, helmets, amulets, quivers, shields, armour, weapons, belts, gloves, boots and rings in which can all be worn without any cluttered look whatsoever. Characters can be personalized to the players own choice through many hairstyles and colours.

I've been working on the ship (originally boat) system. Here's some information on the updates regarding the system.

I've been working on the ship (originally boat) system. So far I've added the ability to use a ship (if your next to water and actually have a ship in your possession) and then be granted the ability to sail across water, when you sail off the water your avatar is automatically restored. You can equip a cannon to your boat (once you've smithed one!) and then have the ability to shoot cannon balls at your foes! You will be able to discover new islands deep at sea, treasures, more vast and rewarding fishing areas (you can cast a net out from your ship when deep at sea).. There will be much, MUCH more to come. Something else I'm going to implement soon is dynamic wind direction adjusting your speed to your advantage or disadvantage depending on your direction. Once again all feedback is welcome! Screens are below, with and without the cannon equipped.

Must be some big pockets the player character has, if you can fit a ship in them :)
