Sorry, but the maps are made by Whiteberry and she doesn't make them anymore. Some of the maps are also outdated but I guess it's better than nothing.
Oh my! I had seen that there was a map of forlorn muskeg available on your Save Editor and figured that maybe she was producing a simplified version for your editor. I thought that it might have been a newer development. I'm sorry buddy. I'm just thankful that you are able to make this at all. Is it possible to use the in game generated maps for your editor some day? They seem fairly accurate. Thank you again!
Probably possible, but not sure how Hinterland would like it since Raph has agreed with "unofficial modding" being "stealing intellectual property". Tbh, a mod allowing you to click positions on the map while in-game would probably be possible.

I just disabled msi afterburner and rivatuner, that was the reason why java stopped working.
'infinty carry' is not working....Please fix it. Thank you.
Sorry, but it's not possible anymore with save editing. You can use UMod to get infinite carry.
TLD has been updated to 1.19. This no longer works.
How does it not work? Can't really debug since it works just fine for me.
Thank you very much for creating this. When I tried it, I didn't see the moose hide as an option in the inventory part. A moose hide dissapeared from a cave where I was curing it and I haven't found another moose since then. Do you have plans to add the new items soon?
I cant change any map, or get in on any house, cause after the loading my character gos to undermap, can you help me

You need to check that the coordinates are on the ground. Most likely you're changing the region and your coordinates are out of the map. Select a region that has a map available and set your position by clicking on the map.
Whenever I change anything using this editor, the next time I exit or enter a building I get a fade-to-black screen. I'm playing story mode and am in Milton at the moment.
I have used the editor just one time, to get out of the jeremiah`s bunker, and now any change of map or ambient puts me on the ground, do you have any idea ?

Just wanted to say thank you for very much for this. You have literally just saved my survival mode run from ending not in death but by being literally stuck and unable to move with no hope of reloading the last autosave due to an untimely sprained ankle.

it still works in v1.21, but not working right in story mod(if the save is chapter 2, edit it will make it chapter 1 and corrupt the save), and some new items not added, like moose related items.
On 1.21 after editing a save, when in story mode the game goes to a black screen (with game audio) after interacting with a door. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
When I edit a save file with this and play it I'm unable to save (the button is literally greyed out and doesn't work) and the game won't auto-save either! D:
last I checked, the story mode doesn't work at all, do not try. sandbox still fine with few new items missing, challenge mode not tried yet.
Want to change the settings of my custom game but can't get the save editor to work.
It doesn't seem to detect my saves. Instead of having a choice of saves to edit in the upper left corner like on screenshots I have a blank line there (and it doesn't read my profile either, everything is at 0%).
I've tried to install it in the same appdata folder the saves are in, to run it from the download folder, to run it with admin rights, to run it while game is running or not running, etc... Same result. Do someone know how to fix that problem ?
(I'm using normal steam version of TLD on a windows 10 x64 computer.)
Hi, i think the problem is the version of the game. I play TLD on 1.21 and the Save Editor is for 1.17.
I hope the new version is comming soon.
Maybe but it's strange : on the general comment thread for TLD save editor a post is saying it works well with version 1.21.
Perhaps the very last hotfix to TLD broke compatibility ?

It was a registry problem from my side, the editor works well.
new version fixed story mod compatibility and works all fine, gj!

The editor sees my game saves and can change the values. Save button is available. However, when I go into that game save - nothing has changed.

If you mean the in-game maps, I would, but since Hinterland doesn't really like modding they probably would not be ok with me distributing their maps.

I try your editor but it doesn't works. I simply remove a bunch of matches and add coal to my inventory on survival mode but those modifications doesn't appear.
Hi, nowadays you need to restart the whole game to see the changes, as the game loads all the saves to the memory on startup.
Please show my mistakes. I can't even start the exe file, I've tried admin privilages etc :(

Hi, did you extract the zip file? If yes, is there a crash.txt file in the same directory as the exe file? If there is, can you pm me the contents of the file?

the long dark has been updated and when you save a game when entering the game crash leaving the game unusable, update to new version please
