Release is now done with all the levels finished, a few edits have been made in the most recent updates. In it you are one of the first infected in one hundred thousand years, and you feel the hunger. Fight through the swamp facility to free the flood from the millennia of confinement that they've been held in for so long. Fight through all the enemies you'd expect and be one of the horde watching the marines as they go intrepidly to their doom.
Recuperation finally feels like it's own chapter now with the ending hopefully being better. Now with a decent amount of varied levels at five and all of the bugs fixed including pathings. It takes place in the library after Master Chief has left with the icon in guilty spark's possession leaving the flood in tatters. Luckily for you, under the advances of the Prophet of Stewardship a large covenant force has been sent to retrieve the holy icon and continue finding how far the parasite has spread. Recover your horde with these fresh bodies in the halls of the library and escape through the sentinel wall.
Infestation is finished and has had a few changes since release, most towards the end and adding audio files. In it you play as one of the many combat forms that used the dropship outside the swamp facility to crash into one of the truth and rec's hangers before Master Chief and Cortana arrive. You'll witness the spread of the flood through the ship as you progress and defend the protomind in two stages of growth. Once again, hope you enjoy.
Vitriol is the newest campaign that's been made with all new scripting and fun stuff put in thanks to DeadHampster. It takes place in and on the island of the silent cartographer showing the flood enter the facility and begin to consume and infest until they have the biomass to create a hive. Destroy the covenant resistance and protect your hive from the covenant forces that are hell bent on destroying this infestation even resorting to drastic measures.
Decay is finally finished after a looong time! In this completely revamped campaign you'll be delving into the depths of the beached ship in seven levels. Arrive as the flood spread throughout the ring's cavernous subsystems and repel a covenant containment effort focused in the trench of the warthog run. Seep through the cracks in the hull to consume all covenant that are garrisoned in the ship. Dive deep into the wrecked ship and try your best to escape the fate in a last desperate effort of the flood. Hope everyone enjoys it!
All credit where it's deserved. Everything from the amazingly done flood perspective from the forgotten exile crew. The halo 2/custom animations, bump mapping of textures, creation of crazy good animated biomass, infection animations and custom infection forms from Gravemind, the campaign would not be anywhere near as good without his help. Thanks to DeadHampster too for helping me with scripting the new camapaign wouldn't be done without him. Also big thanks to Altheros for giving me the flood door in his tagset! Not to mention Delta and cmts amazing work on their Halo 2 assets. im sorry to say but the mod he uses to start it up with isnt avilable anymore unless he found way to start it up with out the halo custom edition singleplayer version

anyone know how to make maps work i type in comand map_name release but it says cannot be executed now
Make sure the map files are in the "maps" folder in your H:CE directory?
and make sure that you have Open Sauce

First of all, amazing missions, and a very amazing experience. Played through this canpaign like three times since yesterday. The only problem I’ve had is with Decay. When I get the message “Something is changing the closer we get..” and the screen goes black, it does not transition into the next area. Screen just stays black and I can run around/shoot etc. Very unortunate because I would hage liked to finish this campaign.
Is there anyway that I can use the console to get past this glitch or something? Thanks!
Really sorry to disappoint but decay had to be cut short due to constraints with the halo ce engine. it was planned to be so much more with the first level being flood walking towards the ship and then going through one of the derivable areas killing cov until eventually you make your way to the front of the ship through the made levels just as chief is blowing up the engines then having a mad dash through the exploding last level and ending on the "rock and metal and time.." quote at the end. Sorry to disappoint again I'm trying to get stuff to work but its really difficult. Glad you enjoyed them though!
should start a kickstarter or go fundme. would love to support the development of mods like this!

for some reason when I downloaded the maps and added them to the Halo CE maps folder and load up the game with the custom UI and everything, I click on the mission and it doesn't load up...can I get some help here please?

how to load yelo files?,i put them in "maps" folder and when i go to halo and type map_name decay or something other,it don't want to load it.Please tell me how to do that
map_name should work for loading them
should i put like decay.yelo or just decay,and one more question.should i delete mapfiles folder and the flood virulence folder to maps
ah yeah put the actual map files into the maps folder not in their own folder in the maps folder
how do i get the .yelo to work? i put the maps in the Halo CE maps folder and then i put the command and the map work or do anything
you need to be running an opensauce version of Halo, hope this helps

btw, i encountered a problem in earlier versions with the other model of the marines, that ones that don't have armor, they don't turn into flood combat forms, if you are gonna add the animation to them too, be sure that when they turn, they don't have armor. (because the model of the marines don't have armor)

Ah yeah sorry about those, spell checking is always a mother especially with everything else lol I'll be sure to rectify the spelling errors and shorten the third so it fits the screen :)

I have the same issue. I can assure you that the map files are in the correct file location "Maps" with just the maps files not the folder that came with the download. Every time i type the command "map_name release".A error message responds with ""Requested function "map_name" cannot be executed now". I've typed this command in-game on a multiplayer map and the main menu the result is the same. My properties target is ""Halo Custom edition/haloce.exe" -comsole -devmode"
I understand that it must be opensource which i believe it is but is there anyway to be sure? E.g. a test. Lastly i have installed halo creative edition with the latest patch and two other files. "haloce 1.0.10 Fixed.zip" and "release.zip" is there any other downloads required ?
I really look forward to play this amazing mod and hope someone can help out my naivety.

Hmm by all means that should be working, are you sure you've applied opensauce to the version of halo ce you're playing. Does the command work with other maps within the folder?

You have to put the yelo files into the maps folder within the halo directory .you will also need open sauce to run them so be sure to look up how to do that too :)
