Pearl Of The Orient Changes
It is now a real challenge especially if you are looking for something new.The campaign is now brutal and relentless, without doubt it is now the hardest of all.
Battlegroup morale increased for Chinese troops, harder to win against them now.
Large amounts of infantry added to armor regiments.
You will be hit with waves of armor followed up by waves of infantry mopping up, so dig in as best you can.
Expect to be at least be occasionally overrun and hit with combined arms tactics relentlessly.
The British are heavily outnumbered, and outgunned. You lack proper logistics as well.
You lack any kind of proper fire support, especially at the beginning.
The only good news is that if you play it right you can quite easily establish air and naval superiority.
Beware the Chinese pincer attack on Tsuen Wan, it can get ugly real fast.
I felt that since the war is right in China's backyard, it should have been able to deploy more troops at the beginning and call reinforcements faster.
Great Britain lacks the manpower and is a long way away from the theater, so realistically they would not have been able to bring many troops to it.
Does Pearl of the orient still have the same battlegroups? Or have they been changed?
They are still the same battlegroups just some of them have more units than the previous update.
Cool. How do you edit the battlegroups? All the documentation I can find leads to the "battlegroup manager", whose links are dead.
is there any way to only try the campaigns? I've modded the game myself and I want to keep what I have. But I'd love to play a new intense campaign.
Unfortunately no. NDF editing doesn't allow for that kind of stuff.
You could make a backup of what you have I suppose.
