To install, just unzip/unrar the files and place them where your game's exe is, saving your original files as backup or overwriting them.

It is possible yes, I just haven't done it because the program you need to use, Wwise, is really annoying to set up and run. Someone from my Discord group wrote a guide using a tool here, but I haven't tried it-

amazing, i'm very grateful for what've you done. i hope you don't mind to add infinite deck slot feature in the future update. bulding deck is such a fun for yugioh player, and i'm privately hate erasing it.

Sadly though, I don't think it's possible to expand the number of deck slots, which can be annoying since you had like 200 slots in the older games with half the cards. One thing you can do though through editing is put one of your decks on the AI in the story duels, that way you can just select the recipe and still have the deck, and have room for more in the normal create a deck.

I can help if you have questions, but basically you just need to have a video ready, convert it to the bink format the game uses using RAD video tools, name it by the ID of the monster you can find on the ID list, then just write the new file name into the toc so it can repack.

That seems to work for both the original Legacy and Link Evolution too, and it does a few things like enables tag duels and rush duels (LE only), but the downside is that you would need to always have that running and possibly set it up before every single duel (I never tried the tool so not sure) and it only works for the official Steam version of the game. I just am not sure how to set that up in an actual mod using only the game itself and not another tool, but it could be an option if you want to try messing around with the tool.
I enjoy the extra duels that you have added, is it too much to say that some more would be nice.
I wish I could add more, but 40 was all the game had room for before it stops reading the data in memory. The game itself has some empty space or padding in there (probably left there on purpose in case they ever did an update, which they won't lol), and I just filled all that in with custom stuff, so I don't think I would be able to make flat out new room unfortunately.

It is possible to customize card packs yeah. You'd have to follow my editing guide on Github and the pack tool listed here (it's under the packdefdata section)-

The editor tool basically will convert the pack.bin file into a text file that you can edit and switch names of cards, or add more by writing the name of the card into the file, then convert back so you can customize any pack how you want. I don't think it will work on battle packs though.

- Music from the Anime or other games. The Duel-music is kinda boring if you ask me.
The animations for the god cards is definitely something I wanted, I had a couple of people trying to record the animations from Duel Links in full screen (especially those 3 cards), just they haven't finished or gotten that far in game to unlock them yet, so kinda just waiting on that.
As for voices, not sure how I could get that to work in this game tbh.
For music, the music in the game is incredibly boring lol, it's something I did want to do, it just requires another program, Wwise, that is difficult to even set up and use so I didn't feel like doing it yet, but might be something I go back to in the future.
Is it possible to have this and the uncensored JP cards together? If so can you tell me how to do it or if there isn't will there be any uncensored with animations?

Is there any way to make a mod/script so that the AI uses a different deck each time? You know, like the Battle Packs mod except you can choose your own deck instead of getting a random one every time?
There's a battle pack mod? Something like you said might be possible, but using an external tool as I don't think it's possible to do it in game only. There's a tool that I think lets you select decks beforehand of ones you have unlocked but not your user decks I don't think if that's what you mean? That tool is here if you want to check it-

I meant just a way for me to play against AI with them using random decks that aren't from their characters. So Pretty much the "Battle Pack" Mode but allowing the player to use his own deck against the random decks from the AI.
Is that a thing?
Ah that, there's like 82 battle pack decks in the game and not sure how it determines which one of them it uses (like if it has a pattern or really is just random selection), but no there's nothing like that yet, but could be something to look into.

Probably not just for the banlist only, but can put the new one in the next version. Personally I'm waiting for someone to give me the Duel Links animations that they were gonna get from the game, then was going to do another update with those and other things like the banlist.

I tried it with a normal monster and the game can't even read it (just sees it as blank card that you can't use), so no it's not possible (especially since the effects are coded directly into the exe making it harder to edit. You can change the current card stats like changing their names, descriptions, attack/defense and type of card (like making spell cards into monsters or normal monsters into synchros, etc), but they will still have the same effects as the older cards.

Can you add more characters or replace some modded character slots with characters from the anime that actually duelled? For example, you could replace Henrietta with Sergey.
Sergey was on my list when I started planning the mod, but as he has no actual sprite I could use and none of his cards are in the game, I left him out. Turning the npcs into playable characters was easier of course since they were already there (even if some aren't duelists like you said). There's only room for 235 characters total, so I could add more at some point.
I can also help if you want to try adding in your own custom characters as well if you want to try to add some that are missing, or replace others.
how about changing the card art to anime style one like yugioh omega and yugioh pro also if u happen to know someone that might have a good video Animations for red-eyes metal darkness dragon can u add it to the game this card is awesome yet konami never gived it the respect it Deserves
All of the cards share the same frame as each one of the same type (such as spell cards having 1 frame, all trap cards having 1 frame, etc), so in theory it would be easy to change them to anime style since you don't have to edit each card manually, but can instead edit like 20 frames instead. The problem is that I have no idea where it stores the location of things like stars/level, atk/def and so on, and those would be out of position on the anime frames and would look weird. If someone figures that out though, I could put the anime frames in.
As for the Red-Eyes animation, I haven't seen a good one of him, but would put him in there if I had a decent animation, maybe from the anime or something.
ithink the only yugioh games that you can call alive is tagforce and scb since they make you feel like you watch the anime while playing link evolution is lifeless game like most of yugioh games ithink that your mod is the only thing that make this game worth playing since it add some life into it by adding more Animations duelist or making the char use their original decks that really make it better thankyou can i ask when will you update the mod next and what are u planning to add ? as for the video i think that card was summoned in only 1 episode in gx iwill check it to see if its good enough to be worth adding
Thanks, I'm glad you like the mod then. Also, I agree with that. I like both the original Legacy and Link Evolution, but they feel a bit lifeless since you can't walk around or interact with people like you could in Tag Force (not to mention them removing a lot of features like AI duels, limited deck slots and more).
As for the update, I'm not sure honestly. I started working on it a few weeks ago but stopped entirely to do other things. I got some of the work done already, but I'm waiting for someone from my discord to finish recording all the Duel Links monster animations and send them to me, since once I have those, I will be able to put them into the next update (I don't play Duel Links and don't want to lol, so need someone else to give me the animations).
duel links is like scb(saiko card battle)when it comes to rules but scb is way way better when it comes to animations i think its the best animated yugioh game you should try it you will need to download citra emulator though
how many ost does this game has?and is there is any music mod with anime soundtrack?
The game itself has like 18 music tracks but only plays like 10 or 11 of them and the rest are ignored and it doesn't seem possible to add new ones in there either. It's not too hard to replace them though, that was something that I was going to do if I update this mod in the future and use tracks from older ygo games. I think only 1-2 of the mods people released so far have the music changed and none of them are using anime tracks.
I can help if you want to edit your own music though if you want.
I dont think music is that much of a concern since we can play whatever music we want in the background with another program. Besides each person might want the music from a different game.
You're awesome man. This is worth more than your regular DLC and yet it's free. If you added more summoning animations it'd be even more epic.

I'm planning to do one more final update at some point. The biggest hold up is just waiting for someone to give me the Duel Links monster animations. I had someone from my discord offer to record them all in full screen but they have been doing other things so haven't got around to it yet. Once I have those though, I will put them in as part of a final update to this. I also have over 200 anime clips (mostly from the later series), but they do have some character talking in them (not a problem for me since I play with the game muted), so might throw those into an optional download someday if anyone else wants to use them too.
And haha, I understand the broke life too well, but if people can enjoy the stuff I make, that's enough for me.

Duel Links animations seem to be good from what I've seen on youtube. However I'd still suggest that if you add a lot of other improvements in the next update, you make 2 versions, one with the duel links animations and one with the tag force animations for variety(and so that they don't go to waste). I'd love an anime animations version too and I think most people wouldn't mind the characters talking in them. Hopefully it's not hard for you to make different versions.
I don't play Duel Links either, but the problem with the animations is the fact that you'd have to unlock all of them first, so would have to play the game a great deal to get that far. That person I mentioned played it for months to get a lot of them, then gave up and bought some hacking tool to get them lol. After that, it's possible to edit the .dll file to make the game play in fullscreen instead of the mobile windowed mode it's normally set at, and would look a lot better to be put into LE.
If you record stuff from the anime in good quality (youtube often kills the quality, so would have to be on a streaming site), I could always take the clip, convert it to the format the game uses, then put it in the game. My laptop is a bit old so doesn't really record things perfectly without lag so is a bit hard for me to make perfect clips from the show (the ones I have atm were made by someone else), so that is one thing you could help with if you want. And yeah I probably will upload a few versions just because I know not everyone will want all those animations, plus they push the size of the game from 1.1gb without animations to over 8gb with all of them lol.
