I apparently need a better computer to play this, because even in 720p it lags fairly bad. (And I refuse to play it in anything smaller. xD)
I didn't expect it to have such high system requirements just from the 2D sprites...
Hi, here are a few notes about the game:
1. I can not start the game from the launcher even after everything is updated. The game asks for XNA Framework 4.0 and I have all the versions (including redists and 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 versions) already installed. And this is a machine on which I am actively developing XNA projects. This never happens for any other XNA game on my system.
2. The game has real performance issues. The FPS drops really low at certain times. I am sure you will make lots of performance optimizations.

While there were already some performance improvements, there is still a lot of potential. The performance issues itself aren't related to graphical stuff.
The XNA install bug is fixed, too, and was related to a missing registry check for XNA 4 on Windows 64-bit.
