Description

I wrote this piece in a day to enter a competition. It uses two samples from the opera Orpheus, one at the start and one at the end. Heres some more blurb ;) This piece follows the jealousy driven demise of the last moments of Orpheus. The jealous lover begins to sing however Orpheus takes no notice. The mood changes as the jealous lover's anger grows to a fevered pitch until she tares him limb from limb. The music becomes more reflective as Orpheus' head is set adrift on the river Hebron before finally Orpheus is set free from the world and is sent to Hades, where he is finally reunited with his lost wife.
