This includes experimental editing features such as parallax skies, new triggers and action specials, damage types, and various tweaks, with the goal of eventually being reintegrated into the official release. This has complete compatibility with all games and ECWolf mods that the current development version supports.
To play ECWolf, you must put your WL6 or SOD files into the same folder as the ECWolf executable. Mods can be in any folder. You can run mods by drag and drop, or from command line with "ecwolf.exe -file blahhhh.pk3".
Alternatively, you can use a Doom Launcher such as ZDL, however it requires a bit more setup than using a Doom engine such as ZDoom, you can define ecwolf.exe as the engine as normal, but you must define a fake IWAD in the menu, by making a blank .pk3 file and using that instead of an actual iwad.
So this is only for Linux?
