Firebird 2.7 is much more polished and includes new weapons, vehicles, and lots of improvements
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: After downloading, extract the rar, place the LEVELS folder inside the FIREBIRD folder and then move the FIREBIRD folder into Battlefield 2/mods wherever you installed your copy of the game.
2.7 includes a ton of fixes, improvements, and new content while refining and removing a lot of duplicate and unused files to make the game smoother

But I've noticed few bugs:
1. Javelin ATGM here! Finally! But it works a bit strange. Sometimes the rocket falls in front of or behind the target. Sometimes it just flies up and goes down in 50m from me or so. Is this a bug or it meant to be that way?
2. Game crashes when I try to switch to play taliban (don't judge me, I'm just curious what weapon sets they have). I've tried it on two maps where tals are available, it crashes on both. Bug or you don't want to allow players to play FOR them? Only AGAINST them?
3. Oh and that M4 (or was that HK416 I don't know) with a grenade launcher under it's barrel for US Assault class have a broken EOtech scope. I mean, there's no red dot or circle there so it's basically impossible to use it.
1. The javelin is a work in progress, still getting the bugs out of it.
2. Taliban was because of a missing Icon, that's fixed now. You should be able to re-download the core files and it will work or wait until I release 2.8.
3. It's an m416, the reticle works for me but I'll dig deeper and see what I can find. Thanks for reporting the errors! I often release fixes on discord as I make them, so you may want to join us there. Discord.gg
Never mind what I said about m416, it actually works. I didn't notice an advice to turn transparency to 0. When I did that I saw the red dot and few other guns got it too so it was my mistake. But yeah I hope you'll fix Javelin. Also about it - it has some glitch(?) - when I try to walk while aming the animation is a bit broken. Not sure how to explain this, just try it yourself and you'll see.
Also I'm sad a bit you nerfed A-10, it's much harder to control the plane now but it was a bit too overpowered so yeah it makes sense. Your mod is super great!
Oh and a little advice - can you download the mod to torrent or something? It takes like 6 hours to download both files through browser

I know the bug you are referring to but, I think that's outside of my skillset to fix at this time. I've thought about uploading a torrent, but it takes me a week or more just to upload here, and I don't have to pay to host it so I most likely won't do torrents. I'm glad you are enjoying FIREBIRD!
