Disables the game from switching between high and low detailed models(LOD)
for enemies and other dynamic objects when the player moves closer or away from them.
This modification disables the game from switching between high and low detailed models(LOD)
for enemies and other dynamic objects when the player moves closer or away from them.
The game will use high detailed models all the time.
By default enemies have 5 different models and other objects 2 to 3 models,
and the highest quality one would only be used when around 3-5 meters from the player. On high resolution displays the transition between various models is quite noticeable and distracting, and modern PC hardware can easily handle the usage of high detailed models for all objects.
USAGE
Extract the archive and copy the files from the LOD_high folder to:
(game install directory)\Resources\Informs
If you want to return those to their original state, use the files provided in LOD_original folder.
