::
:: Notice: Current version doesn't support map block editing yet.
:: However, the script editor and other features are worth using!

:: Notes in Settings.cfg
::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
- carsprites_surface_size: If you are using a lot of remapped cars, but some of their remaps wont be visible, then change this value to 2048 and restart the editor.
- force_2d_coord: if you want to be able to move multiple objects by mouse under some blocks, then change this value to "no". (or choose it from options->editor settings->force 2d...).
- use_old_gta2_version: if you cannot launch the map for testing into gta2.exe, then change this value to "yes".
- show_all_zone_types: By default, the editor displays only the zone types that GTA2 uses, there are few other zone type possibilities, but they are hidden from the list, you can enable all zone types by setting this to "yes".

:: FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Q: Why is the CPU usage so high?
A1) Using v-sync to limit the FPS is the most probable reason that causes this, go to: 'options -> rendering settings -> framerate limiter -> v-sync' to turn v-sync off, and enable framerate limiter to 60 or 30. Note: at this moment v-sync is disabled by default.
A2) Using the Zone-editor or Script-editor can cause CPU usage to get insane high due to the way how window mouse coordinates are translated into opengl world coordinates.
Q: My textures looks messed up, what do i do?
A1) Go to settings.cfg and set "mip_mapping" value to "no". Note that this will also make the rendering very slow (and uglier).
A2) Try creating "lowmem.txt" to enable super low memory usage. This will make the graphics ugly as well.
Q: I have low fps (framerate), what to do?
A1) on fps around 10 you probably have outdated gfx card drivers, update your gfx card drivers!
A2) resizing the window smaller will give more FPS.
A3) Disable: options->rendering settings->texture settings->anisotropic filtering.
A4) Disable: options->rendering settings->texture settings->reduce tiles texture bleeding.
A5) Disable: options->loading settings->load skybox. If you want to use skybox, but you dont care about the image quality, and you want more rendering speed, you can go to "settings.cfg" and increase "skybox_tex_mipsize = 0" value to 1, 2 or 3.
A6) Shut down all other programs that use OpenGL/DirectX: games, web browsers etc.
A7) Launch the editor in compatibility mode: disable everything you can disable at: right click mapeditor.exe and go to properties->compatibility.
A8) If nothing of above helps, you can use the experimental low gfx card memory mode: create file "lowmem.txt" on the editor folder and restart the editor.

::
:: Possible crashes / errors
::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
- If using large skybox (2048x2048) sizes, editor may crash when it suddenly switches to drawing a lot of things at once (for example when looking at sky, it switches to render the whole map as well). Crash found on a cheap ATI card. Problem can be fixed in "settings.cfg" and increase "skybox_tex_mipsize = 0" value to 1, 2 or 3. (Or resize the skybox manually to 1024x1024 sizes or half of that etc).
- Using Fraps (a screen record/benchmark program) may cause the editor crash immeditely on some users.
- Having FireFox open with many tabs may cause textures go black on some users.
