What do you mean it doesn't have 32 bit support? The game was originally made for 32 bit computers!

Someone found a fix!

FOR THOSE GETTING THE DREADED "DEBUG ASSERTION" ERROR:

Some people fix this by disabling audio. Usually by disabling HD audio devices (seems to affect it) or just setting UseSound to false in the .ini.

Truth is, you don't need to disable sound at all. But if you do, for some reason whenever the game renders water in view (even if its behind a wall) it'll crash the game with a "BigWaterOdd" message. Basically the water needs audio for it to work in the first place for some reason.

HERE'S THE REAL FIX. Doing this helped me and someone else having this issue, and the game now runs perfectly for me. So here's what you do.

Type in "View Advanced System settings" in your Windows search bar. Click it, then select the Advanced tab, then click on Performance and then Settings under it.

Go to the "Data Execution Prevention" tab (it's the last one after you click) and select the option that says "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select". Click "Add" and locate DukeForever.exe. It'll be in October 21/System. It should automatically be added to the list below, already checked. After that just hit Apply and then "OK" to exit, and just launch DukeForever.exe.

I found a bug. If you remap the kick button and change it back to default, it stops it from working. I was using Directx9 and I did not have weapons at the time.

The game works perfectly with the Directx 11 renderer.
1) Copies all files from the "Common" folder to the Duke nukem "System" folder.
2) Copies all files from the "Undying" folder to the Duke Nukem "System" folder.
3) Start the game and select the DirecX 11 renderer under the renderer selection.

Tested with the "Unreal DirectX11 Renderer" version 1.6.2
(Very suitable for Reshade + RTGI)

So we tried this internally, without some further tweaking to the files this actually just defaults the player to DirectX9 because the game doesn't know how to set the DirectX11 parameters, we are still looking into it however.
