////INSTALLATION//// Find your doom 3 directory on your C: Drive, either through steamapps or Games on your bethesda.net launcher folder. Upload the file named "redux" on your doom 3 folder, do not put it in any subfolders. Set your lanch command in steam or bethesda launcher to +set fs_game redux in the properties tab if you easily want to launch it or launch it from "mods" in the doom 3 menu screen to open the mod. If you have trouble launching the mod, delete the gamex86.dll, it should redownload itself when you launch the mod, but if further problems ensue, a backup of the file has been provided in the "backups" folder. This mod aims to overhaul Doom 3's gameplay and difficulty by making the player more powerful along with making the demons much more poweful. Feedback would be very much appreciated. Hey hope you get this I'm having trouble with the mars surface, for whatever reason it is acting as if I have no oxygen and has a - negative sign next to the oxygen count.
Is there something I am missing or a mod it may conflict with? I have this mod set to my primary steam launch but I do have the rivarez edition mod installed as well which has a key binding for a suit when out on the surface.
Nvmind, it was the rivarez mod, just deleted it and oxygen works like normal!
That's great, please let me know if there are any actual bugs that will need to be fixed for when I get to work on it again.
Does the folder have to be named "redux"? It could create conflicts if you had redux installed and wanted to play with vanilla redux. And would it technically work with this Moddb.com?
If you have redux installed and you want to play it, all you have to do is make a backup of the pakmodfiles file and use either/or whenever you want. I would say it also works with that mod, since my mod doesnt change any fundamentals
