Along with the start of our mapping contest we wanted to release a fairly stable and accessible client for folks to download and use! This contains Updated Graphical Drivers, Updated Enemy AI, Fog Fixes Stability Improvements, and other engine updates. Please feel free to reach out to report bugs on our Github and Discord.

What this Package Contains;
Up to Date Fixes from the Restoration Team including;
Updated Graphical Drivers, Updated Enemy AI, Fog Fixes Stability Improvements, New Editor Brushes, and other engine updates
What it Does not Contain;
Any maps, meshes, models, textures, music or sounds pert of the restoration project. Source Code (Hopefully to be released at a later date)
To Install:
Extract contents of package to a folder without a space (Example C:\duke4)
Known Issues:
1. When in the Editor, an Oil Slick like pattern shows up on some textures.
- This is a current known OpenGL bug, to fix change the Texture View Mode and then change it back to Dynamic Light.
2. I am no longer able to place actors / actors that are placed are invisible.
- When this happens with a known good actor, sometimes saving and then realoading the map will fix this. Otherwise the editor will need to be rebooted. Other times this is because the actor does not have a Mesh/Sprite attached to it.
3. When changing the viewport layout the 3D viewport defaults to software/Direct3D
Other Known Issues:

(In-Game) When Fullscreen, Alt-Tabing mouse can get stuck in the top right forcing hard close (DX8)

(In-Game) When Fullscreen, Alt-Tabing will break the display driver forcing hard close (DX9)

(Editor) When in using the editor, there is a delay in selecting actors / brushes (DX8)

It dosen't work! when i click on DukeForever a screen appears and after one second it disappers e it does nothing...

so is this just an updated Editor or fixes for the leak itself ? kinda confused
This is an updated editor with fixes and patches for the game as well. There are no map improvements other than a fix for Penthouse A that fixes the elevator mover at the beginning of the level. The First Slice will release this holiday season and will include map updates.
so i guess i install this over a fresh leak unpack ?
No this is a standalone client and does not require any other files to run.
