This is the official Cryostasis Tech Demo / Benchmark. It has support for DX10 and demonstrates impressive PhysX effects. Taken from an old Nvidia marketing website and uploaded for conservation.
Note that after installation, it will give you an error. Ignore that and just start the benchmark from the executable.

I personally use it to test CPU single-core speed. PhysX can be done on hardware if you have an Nvidia video card, or if AMD/Intel are allowed to support older versions of PhysX (they can do new ones) in the future. Otherwise, it runs on the CPU and unlike modern implementations, it uses just one core. That is why it may give you really bad performance while using some settings and/or configurations.
If you have a modern Nvidia GPU and/or just have newer versions of PhysX installed, you do not need to install the benchmark's (much) older PhysX version.
HELL YEAH
ALSO MAKE SURE YOU UNCHECK "INSTALL NVIDIA PHYSX DRIVER" DURING INSTALLATION! THAT'S A 2008 OR 2009 DRIVER.
