INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To make C&C: Reloaded (1.4 or newer) work on your computer, follow these instructions:
Step 1)
C&C: Reloaded 1.5 (or newer) needs Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge installed like any existing mod but it does not require a CD to be played.
To prepare C&C: Reloaded you need the following files from Yuri's Revenge v1.001 (this means that you need the YR game updated to the latest version):
- gamemd.exe (version 1.001, from original CD, The First Decade or The Ultimate Collection release,
if it isn't the original file Ares will fall and the game will not work properly or start).
- ra2.mix
- ra2md.mix
- language.mix
- langmd.mix
- expandmd01.mix
- binkw32.dll
- blowfish.dll
Optional files for a better game experience (specially for campaigns):
- thememd.mix
- movmd03.mix
Step 2)
Create a new folder with your desired name and unpack all the files of C&C: Reloaded 1.5 (or newer) in the new folder.
Make sure to not mix C&C: Reloaded files with other game modifications or hacked executables or it will not work, so is highly recommended to use a new folder and extract here the C&C: Reloaded files.
The following is advised if you are playing Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge multiplayer on CnCNet:
DO NOT extract C&C: Reloaded files to the folder where CnCNet for Yuri's Revenge is installed.
Two methods to prepare C&C Reloaded for playing: `Automated` and `Manual`:
- "Automated" method:
Run "RUN ME FIRST - C&C Reloaded installer.exe" and click in install. If necessary you can select manually where is located Red Alert 2: Yuris Revenge files.
- "Manual" metod:
Copy the Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge files from the `Step 1` to the C&C: Reloaded folder.
Step 3)
If you have downloaded C&C: Reloaded videos or music packs, extract the `.mix` files to the C&C:R location.
Step 4)
Run "CnCReloadedClient.exe", configure the settings and play offline single player or multiplayer on CnCNet.

After I find this mod I'm not play the original RA2 anymore.
This mod just keep anything in RA2 and add some awesome faction from C&C2;.
And it run SOOOO Smooth in my win7.(the original lag some time)
I can play this mod all day.

I got it running but when i get in game there's no sound. When i go to the options menu the sound bar is grayed out.
100% Weird. Did you followed the instructions and created a new folder, unzipped the C&C:Reloaded files in the new folder and ran the "RUN ME FIRST - C&C Reloaded installer.exe" or just dropped the files inside the RA2 folder? try run the "RUN ME FIRST - C&C Reloaded installer.exe" as administrator and watch that you have enough free space for the process.
I make a new folder and ran run me first. Whats weird is i get the menu music but no in game music or sound
Did you ran as admin that RUN ME FIRST app ? and try running as administrator the CnCReloadedClient.exe ...
The Yuri's Revenge music is packed in a file called "thememd.mix" and his size is 45.761 KB (aprox. 44.6 MB) Look if the size is correct because could be corrupt...
Moreover, Can you hear other in-game sounds like units, explosions etc ?
I cant get the game to run I can get as far as setting the game up and then when I hit start it crashes every time plz help
Try running CnCReloadedClient.exe as administrator.
Another typical case is if you need enable the Windows compatibility in the gamemd.exe file, then follow these steps:

how i assign the "Attack-move" to a hotkey botton? don't have in the customize keyboard menu
It's hardcoded.
So we can't change the "Shift + Ctrl + Move Command (Mouse1)" combination for forcing the attack-move command with other keys combinations.
I cannot execute the game and it shows this "Yuri's Revenge has encountered a fatal error! Would you like to create a full crash report for the developers?"
4 possible reasons:
- Wrong renderer.
- You didn't imported the YR game files as I specified in the install steps.
- You needed to run CnCReloadedClient.exe as administrator.
- You need to setup WindoesXP SP3 compatibility to the gamemd.exe
If you are trying to play CnCNet anotehr possible case is a too long nickname (in the first run it picks the user account of your Win User)
