Well after 7 long years I finally got around to fixing a few glaring issues that this mod has had since the last release. Version 6.0 is here to rectify those issues and hopefully put this mod to rest with this last and final release.
Everything from version 5.0 is in this mod so check out the readme if you have no clue what's in this sucker. There are only 3 things that have been fixed in this release:
1. Civilians have been restored to their former glory. They are much weaker than the ones in vanilla Blood 2 so that they die easier.
2. The screen distortion when using the Howitzer is gone. So now you can blow them away at your heart's content with this mighty cannon.
3. The stacking enemy issue brought on by having some enemies spawn extra enemy types has been fixed. They now have a bit of space between each other and so they won't stack like before.
I hope this is the last time I touch this mod but if there's anything else feel free to give feedback. These are the 3 major issues I've been hearing about for 7 years regarding this mod. I hope we can all call it done.

I have the GOG version and it works fine with EC 6.0 on my end. What exactly isn't working for you?

Thanks a lot for this new version. Really cool to see that the stacking enemies issue is gone now. Another playthrough incoming soon™.
Just one question: can you not gib civilians enemies anymore? I tried to gib some civilians in the train with the akimbo pistols and the shotgun to get some hp from them but wasn't able to destroy them. Is this intended?

Yeah gibbing is disabled for ballistic weapons.
Thanks for the answer. Btw. I think this mod deserves getting a proper release trailer for v.6.0. Kinda surprising there is no official one showing some of the changes etc. after all these years. This should be changed imo.
There’s a 5.0 trailer. I didn’t see a point in making a trailer for 6.0 since it only adds the 3 changes described above.
Yeah I know about that one but to be honest I always thought that it looks more like a fan-made one. With proper trailer I mean something similar to the one that was made for Extra Crispy 1.0 (Blood: Fresh Supply) with better editing, more fitting fonts saying "New weapons!" "New enemy types!" etc. and also showing some vanilla/EC comparision scenes. You know a trailer that feels like it's the official release trailer coming from a game dev team. Imo this mod deserves such a trailer after all these years.
