Ok 5.46 + a minor udate with new ships and systems is up and running. We have commenced work on 5.47 which is going to be pretty soon now . It will contain several new systems and a number of ships have been replaced or added, see the piccy, including fighters and capitol ships but not going to go into to much detail here you'll have to come and see for yourselves. We are reworking a lot of the weapons and getting rid of a few of the old ones to get a better balance between them. Cloaks will be reintroduced in 5.47 for selected ships only but getting a cloak will not be an easy matter. For all you Stargate fans there is something new in the way of bases going into one of the new systems for5.47 . Adding this to the already visualy stunning effects we have in game makes ours one of the best mods for Freelancer out there as far as the mod team and the players are concerned.

Welcome to the Tekagis Treasure Royal Rumble. For those of you unsure how a Royal Rumble works, Heres a run through :
Players will register before the event and all will be docked on the base in the PvP system. An Admin will have these names written down and in a hat. He will then pull 2 names out the hat and these players will fly about 20k away from the base and engage each other. 3 mins later the Admin will call the next name and that player will take off and engage in the battle, and another player every 3 mins there after. Last player still standing - WINS !!! Obviously the later your name is called out the more chance you have of winning. The player who wins will have first choice of the prizes, 2nd place will choose 2nd etc
UPDATE : The timer which kicks players who are classed as "Idle" will be switched off for the duration of the event
Hopefully this will be a fun and interesting event and if successful, more may be planned. . .
