Roles are loosely defined at Pixel Alliance, and input is welcomed across the board. We strongly believe that being indie is a great challenge, and it means we got to be better organised and more agile than traditional game companies. Our workflow is modern, iterative, and adaptive with tight online collaboration.

Director's Cut is an ambitious 2d point & click adventure game project with strong emphasis on storytelling. The game takes place in 1948 and the protagonist is a famous 26 year old Hollywood movie director called Avery Ashcombe. He inadvertently gets mixed up in a situation whereby he assumes the role of a self appointed detective, trying to understand what led to the loss of his closest friend, who passed away in an "accident" on the movie set.

The game universe is going to be a somewhat fantastic re-imagination of the 40's with modern touches to attract a wider gamer base. The decidedly noir tone is soothed with humour during the adventure.

Tagline: This might be his final cut.
