CBuilder programmer - author of some games and other software.
The guestbook generator. User fills the form, presses button - and gets a guestbook code ready to use.
INSTRUCTIONS
------------
It is best to create a separate directory for the guestbook and unzip the entire distribution there. Then run QTapLapGB.exe in the GENERATOR directory, generate the code, and then upload all the directories except GENERATOR and all the files in them, except ReadMe.txt to a remote server (or to a localhost). Different hosting providers may need to arrange the files differently, pay attention to the settings in the generator, they must correspond to the directory structure on the server.
After downloading, set the permission of Perl file from cgi-bin (default /cgi-bin/gb.cgi) to 0711, and the permission of data file (default /cgi-bin/data/.gbdb) to 0777. The guest room is ready.
LICENSE
-------
This program is completely free (freeware), can be distributed without restrictions and used for any [legitimate] purposes. You can reprogram it at your own discretion, as well as reprogram guest books created with it. The only thing I ask is that you do not remove information about me as the author of the original version, and also keep a clickable link to the catalog of my programs. It is not necessary to leave the inscription "Author:", you can just mention me in the list of authors or create the inscription "Based on Quick Tyap-Lyap GB by Super-M" in the "About" window.

[-] The title of the numeric settings window and the Cancel button are translated into the supported languages.
[+] Small changes to the design of some windows.

[!] Now there are numeric settings (word sizes, messages, etc.).
Version 0.7.0.43 of April 28, 2021

[+] An icon appeared on the "Generate" button.
[+] The default style is made more pleasant to look at (in any case, the author likes it more).
Version 0.6.0.39 of April 14, 2021
[+] Now we do not impose a counter on you, but if you want to use it (or already use it), the option to add a counter is provided. I recommend the WR-Counter counter, it is free, does not require MySQL and works quite successfully on many sites.
[-] In previous versions, when trying to set a password in the image of the word "password", a warning popped up, but its text was always in Russian, regardless of which language is selected. Eliminated.
Version 0.5.0.36 of April 13, 2021
[+] For the Perl file, the path is now also specified by default (the most commonly used among hosting services). But no one forbids you to enter your own, just make sure that it is an existing directory and do not forget to specify the correct URL.
[-] Minor code edits.
[+] Now the language selection is stored (in the ini file).
[-] The ReadMe is translated into all supported languages (I'm not a polyglot, I used an automatic translator).
Version 0.4.0.33 of April 7, 2021
[+] The bilingual interface has turned into a multilingual one. Now we support 6 languages.
[+] Minor resource edits.
Version 0.3.0.31 of April 3, 2021
[!] Now we have a bilingual interface. If you click the "Generate" button in the English interface, then all generated files will be in English. Russian Russian language: If you click "Generate" in the Russian interface, the guest page will be in Russian.
[-] World Virtual Keyboard file symbols.htm now it is in the gb directory, and the gbk directory has been abolished as unnecessary.
[+] Now we generate not one script file, but two (the server part is in Perl, the client part is in JavaScript).
Version 0.2.0.13 of March 30, 2021
[-] The code generator was corrected (the form of sending the message could become narrower than necessary).
[-] The small remnants of the bilingual interface are reduced to nothing (except for the virtual world keyboard). Now we are patriots!
[!] The generator version number is added to the generated Perl code.
