Our current project is about assassins in a novel like way. It is told chapter by chapter and we plan that each chapter is one game. It is a 2D game using the DX9 WYSIWYG editor construct classic.

East Perl Games is a start up Indie Studio which at the moment is composed of 8 developers which of the majority are sound designers and composers. We now almost have complete staffing but without artists, the game is practically impossible to make. So I am looking for some artists who can help us with drawing some art for our game including sprites, environments and concepts. We will accept anyone who has talent in Drawing. Here are some of the characteristics that you require
Artist
- Great at drawing and coloring
- must possess an efficient way to make drawings into digital images. An example would be possessing a graphic tablet.
- Can work remotely
- Can coordinate with other developers in the same group.
- Creative
- Can visualize the instructions given by the producers and transform them into beautiful drawings
We require our artists to also know knowledge of good painting programs such as Corel or GIMP. The game engine we will be using is construct Classic with some plug-ins. We will hire anybody within our parameters or loosely within it. We will not be able to afford pay at the moment but will do once the game is marketed. We can get the game to market faster if there are more staff. But overall, hiring is not just for a specific game, it's for the studio and everyone in it. And I don't develop or study making games to earn a profit, I do it because I have a passion for it. Hopefully all the other developers do to.
We already have some concept art but aren't very detailed in coloration because it's not really our talent and there are still some minor details missing.
The game we are creating is about 2 brothers who's parents are dead and are forced to live in the streets. They now must face their sad life and fight to survive by stealing. But one day, that all changes.
We are really hiring staff for more than just one game but we are flexible with the conditions that the applicants want.
