---------------------- Company of Heroes Modding Setup ---------------------- This package will install all the CoH Modding tools needed to sucessfully create your own mod, this can be as little as editing some stats or making a total conversion. Even if you have these tools correctly setup this is still worth using as you will be able to uninstall the modding tools with an easy uninstaller instead of having to independently deleting each folder. The "New Mod Setup.bat" is also very usefull for setting up new mods to work in-game! --IMPORTANT-- Although if you already have your pipeline properly setup move it to your desktop or somewhere safe and then after installing this just add in your mod at the bottom. This package will install the following tools: -:: Corsix's ModStudio 0.5.6 -:: Relic Burner (BurnerGUI) -:: Relic 3D Max Model Exporter - for 3D Max 7 & 8 ONLY

IMPORTANT IF YOUR CoH IS NOT INSTALLED IN C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes the "New Mod Setup.bat' WILL NOT WORK!!!!

However the manual way will work! Hope this helps people out!

You said 1st edit New Mod Setup if ur directory is not the standard one, but now you say in your latest message that the new mod setup wont work at all!

which one is it now? can i make a mod with directory C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes?

anyway, my main problem is that when i run the new mod setup, it gives me an empty first_mod.module so thers nothing for me to copy paste.

Ok, i got it fixed.
Reinstalled the setup inside C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes
then loaded first_mod.module that was already there.

then i changed some basic values of ebps/races/allies/soldiers/engineer.rgd.
i gave him double the sight and double the speed and pressed save. but when i go to play -> play in coh/OF there are no changes!
plz help.

had to launch the game via shortcut with -mod 'mymod' added instead of via crosix.

This is a lot easier, and it automates the process for all the tools, and the pipeliner is outdated... However this is error free unlike the manual stuff you may do trying to get the model exporter setup...

Hey, I'm really interested and want to dowload this, but will it work with a Steam version of CoH? Obviously the directory is different.

And is it compatible with all CoH games?

ill try this out, ive always wanted to fiddle with some values ie. Buffing the Grenider Grenade. Does this only work with a specific patch or can it work with all versions. Mine is at 2.301 atm.

This works with all versions however you cannot change Relic's files because the RGM and RGA files cannot be unburnt, however you can use this to get your own models ingame with animations and FX. I will be posting a tutorial shortly ;)

so far only Eastern Front knows how to get custom weapons and soldiers ingame, but they are not releasing any details until their mod is complete...

Hi guys. I downloaded everything and installed it all, but I can't find the First_Mod file, no matter where I look. There's no folder anywhere on my computer called "First_Mod". Need a bit of help, cause I'm stuck without that file.

Also, when copy/pasting text from "pipeline.ini", the instructions are a bit vague on exactly what code I need to copy into my mod's module file.

And last of all, how do I actually make my mod playable? I realise that Corsix let's the user jump into a CoH game with their mod active, but what about after everything is finalised?

re-install but this time direct the installer to your CoH root. Also to play your mod copy your CoH shortcut and add: -dev -mod MODNAME at the end.
For example:

"F:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -mod First_Mod

Hello Darkbladecr,

I'm very new here and awed (for sure) by your project on COH:MC MOD. Unsurprisingly, I suddenly having my own MOD idea.

Basically, I having this idea to add modern ninja team (GI Joe stuff) and other personal imaginations into a self made COH MOD. Again, I'm just trying here. I know, it ain't as easy as it being imagined. My 3D skill is too lame compared to anyone here ;)

hi all, I've been modifying the coh tov and have come to a standstill and I do not get how to change the damage caused by weapons, if you could guide me a bit, could break the deadlock, my mod is a bit ambitious but as I'm working I just take a long time to make changes and corrections, but I hope one day to finish it and upload it to this page for you to try all the followers of this fantastic game.
