As my theroy this map should work well in other mods. I suggest 1.51 patch. If you have older version, then you can not load all statics and it will make map not good looking.
*Knowable bugs:
bots sometimes stuck in walls or anothers statics. On 64 version hangar flag have wrong spawnpoints.

About map:
Strike at Karkand is an urban combat map included in Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield play4free and Battlefield 3as part of the Back to Karkand DLC. It is based on an industrial region within Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is unique in that it is the only base map in Battlefield 2
which does not include any aircraft of any kind on any of its sizes. It
is the most popular map online, especially amongst infantry only
servers (servers that check the option "No Vehicles") likely because of
its omission of attack helicopters, which many players criticize as
'overpowered' on the map.
Strike at Karkand often has most of the kills coming from grenade kills after players throw them into well traveled areas. Claymores are often used as well. This is because the small, cramped areas of the city are good places for booby traps.
