The battle of the five armies has begun. For edain 4.3.1. Make sure to turn some of the graphic details down a bit because it can get quite laggy. The Gate of erebor was made by Gagolin :)

I must be honest, this map was a disappointment to me. Lake town was a mess, I didn't know what to do and there were no hints to tell me where to go. Placing peasants near the boats doesn't always work, and it took me a lot of time to find the right boat. For some reason I could also attack some of the peasants!?
Also eventhough I understand you want to add some scenery, it's highly unrealistic for orcs to fight the men of Lake town and let the player just pass through them. In any case I just wanted to get it done and proceed to the battle of the five armies. After killing Smaug there is a cutscene showing Bilbo giving the Arkenstone to Bard and co. However this cutscene doesn't disappear and the characters don't disappear when the player get's control over their 'clones' in the battle itself.
The elves fighting off the Dwarven rams was a nice touch, but it took far too long and it's so unrealistic that you can't attack Dain and his army during that time. And once the Orcs appear then suddenly the whole Dwarven army dies, except for Dain who still only has 1/4th of his health?? Not to mention that suddenly a line of Dwarven pikemen spawn out of nowhere to confront the orcs. After killing the first wave of orcs I quit the map because I was too disappointed.
I hope this feedback helps you for your future maps, perhaps you can ask the other scenario mappers for help with how to make such battles? Good luck :D!
yeah i didnt enjoy making the map either. the height of the terrain was so tall that it caused everything to lag and so it took ages to test things in the map. there were countless problems that i either got tired trying to fix or forgot about. thank you for playing the map anyway. im definitely going to redo this map again so hopefully i can make the fights bigger, longer and with less lag and problems. :)

This map was great, there were quite a few bugs but that's to be expected from such an enormous map and so many cutscenes. I really enjoyed the whole level and the Laketown part was amazing. One thing that bugged me was the music, it didn't quite match the sheer amount of action, e.g hordes of orcs coming your way and you hear the light shire music XD. Thanks for this great map. ;)
