Today, I've got a new skin pack for you guys. This one is rather special, cause it's dedicated to none other than our favorite rag tag band of pilots, consisted of no one but convicts who would end up changing the tide of the war in the favor of those who deemed them criminals. It's the 444th Air base Squadron, Spare. Despite being seen as expendable, they would be one of if not the most instrumental asset for Osea in figuring out a way for a counter offensive.
In this pack, I've included the planes used by Spare 2 Count, Spare 6 Fullband, Spare 7 High roller, Spare 8 Champ, Spare 11 Tabloid and Spare 15 Trigger. Of course, seeing as Ace Combat X does not have some of the planes used by those pilots in their respective game, I've had to make some minor adjustments but I believe it will still bring across what needs to be brought across:
- Spare 2 Count: Su-27 Flanker-B
- Spare 6 Fullband: F/A-18E Super Hornet
- Spare 7 High roller: F-16C Fighting Falcon
- Spare 8 Champ: MiG-29A Fulcrum
- Spare 11 Tabloid: Mirage 2000D
- Spare 15 Trigger: F-15E Strike Eagle
I did my very best to make the skins as good as my capabilities would allow, but of course there will always be a few errors. If you encounter any, I do apologize and do inform me so I would fix them as soon as possible in a future update.
Installation is simple. Simply take the PNG files in the ZIP file and place it in:
"ppsspp/memstick/PSP/TEXTURES/ULUS10176/aircraft" directory and boom, you will view the skin in the game. This file includes several skins so they replace different skins themselves. The Su-27 skin replaces the Laseath skin, the F/A-18E replaces the Aurelian skin, the F-16C replaces the Aurelian skin, the MiG-29A skin replaces the Laseath skin, the Mirage skin replaces the Aurelian skin and the F-15E skin replaces the special 1 skin.
