In wie wang / yake had problems with the skeleton when transferring to another mode, or in a fashion not Sourse added his weapon!

Nope. It's actually not really a problem, it's just the way he built the skeleton.
Wie's Source mod uses a *custom-made* skeleton different from default BF2, so the difference between the default skeleton and his custom one prevent animations from being used vice versa. Like using different parts of an incompatible automobile.
The only way old animations could be 'fixed' is if they were remade, one by one, to work with that custom skeleton.
Wie also had BF3 soldiers setup on the default skeleton. Using USA MP *as well as* singleplayer BF3 campaign soldiers.
