Hello, this is another experimental mod. I'm fairly certain this is the first ever official mission mod for this game?
This mod will override the mission settings for the predator single player missions, as long as you load it for those missions. Read below for more info.
1) P00_Tutorial was excluded because it is a tutorial and it would NOT feel right at all.
2) I structured this mod for loading via mission. You must load this ASR in your chosen mission's LST files.
3) This mod does not work if you try to load it inside of Common.lst or Multiplayer.lst. This is because of how Common.ASR will override the edited chunks i made.
4) Ultimately, it is better for this mod to not be loaded globally anyways. It's better to be able to choose where its applied.
5) This will only affect predator's single player missions. Even if you loaded this in a Marine or Alien mission or else where.
6) I have compressed this archive using Asura Engine (Propietary) directly. Specifically, AsuraZlb
7) You will not be able to take QuickBMS and uncompress this ASR, this is intentional. So don't worry if you try to take QUICKBMS to this and it doesn't work. I have intentionally made the ASR do this. It won't affect AVP though.

How to Install :
1) Take the PRED_MISSIONS.ASR that was provided in this mod, put it in a directory of your choosing.
2) go to whatever Predator Mission you want, add the full path to the ASR as a new line.
EXAMPLE: Inside of Envs/Jungle/P01_Jungle.lst
envs\Jungle\Jungle.pc
envs\Jungle\P01_Jungle.en
C:\Users\vhetration\Documents\AVP2010\ActiveMods\PRED_MISSION_UNLOCK.ASR
3) Save the edits.
4) AvP2010 is ready to play. This mod loads in the missions you edit the LST of.

Easy Activation/Deactivation -
1) Once the mod is installed to whatever mission you want, go to the directory of the installed mod.
2) Move the mod to another location
WHAT THIS DOES :
This will unload the mod without you having to edit the LST files. All that needs done to load it again is to put the mod back where it was. This mimics the effect of a on/off switch for the mod.
( essentially , this is just a convenient way of unloading/loading an ASR that's already loaded in LST. )

How to uninstall :
1) Go to the mission LSTs where this mod is installed.
2) Remove the line that loads the Mod ASR.
3) Save
4) Delete the mod's ASR

Yes. I could pull this off. I've been considering that and a few other things for what I upload next.
I was even thinking of doing something with the unused Spear Gun, and Tech Vision for Predator.
For marine, NightVision and Taser.
for Alien, Acid Spitting.

Multiplayer is allowed via Steam.
I recommend buying it on steam for this reason.
if your talking about cracking the EXE to enable multiplayer on pirated copies, i cannot release a mod like that publicly. heck, I would love to release the modded EXE , Entity spawning DLL,etc. but It would ruin the MP though severely.
As for addons like vision modes, and etc. those are all fine to upload :)
For a vision mode mod, i was thinking i could edit the Fullscreen FX for the alien skin stenciling and change the alien skins from green to white, and do a red vision mode that looks exactly like AVP1's Alien Vision

I didn't get it. Where exactly should I install it? I put the ASR file it in Envs/Refinery and that's all. There are no more folders to put it in. What am I doing wrong?
You must add the line in your mission LST file.
it tells the game to load the ASR.
if you get further complications you can use my mod installer by checking the settings boxes to allow you to select a custom LST file. It doesnt actually matter where you put the mod at, as long as you get the path to the mod right for the LST.
