G36 mini pack on Develop013 animations with 5 mesh models: G36K w/ integrated sight, MG36 w/ integrated sight and the G36E in iron sight, integrated sight and 8x scope + suppressor configuration. Includes 1 extra paint scheme
I downloaded nightbanedily's g36 pack and it required extra work for it to fit into my personal mod, so I used Develop013's MG36 animations and adapted/reworked most of em to work on the meshes nightbanedily provided in his pack. I also did some tweaks on the meshes and created 2 new variants: the iron sight and 8x scope one. I created 1 extra skin + new crosshairs (one based on aix 2.0 g36V's) and reworked the fire and reload sounds as well.
I've never done 3d and animation editing before, I downloaded 3dsmax just to make those weapons work on my mod. I wasn't going to post it, but it required so much work by trial and error that I decided to share the end result :) the meshes might have some glitched triangles but nothing visible gameplay wise
3p animations are from aix 2.0, all meshes/original textures were provided by nightbanedily and pony releases.
to install, extract the content of each folder(object, menu client, menu server) into your game's respective folders. WARNING: if you already have custom crosshairs for your weapons you should manually add "run HudElementsG36E.con" and "run HudElementsG36-8X.con" into your current "HudSetupWeapons.con" file in Menu_Server and not extract the hudsetupweapons from this pack. Let me know if you find any errors.

Only G36K crashes the game with error texture not found Body_c
thats strange because the texture is there and the mesh material is directing to that texture correctly, check your g36k textures folder

The weapons look great and works but I can't get any reticle. I've tried al possible combination within menu server , if I do as you say in the warning when I right click goes ctd , if I put just the "run" no ctd but there's no reticle . i have many custom weapons with different reticles yet doesn't work. it's a shame cause they look good
I recommend you right click your mod desktop shortcut and paste this without the apostrophe: '+menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 800 +sxy 600' after the existing '+modPath mods/YOURMOD' line, that will run bf2 in window mode and will give u an error message 99% of the cases you get a CTD. that way you know what is missing.
