There are times when you wonder to yourself, how would this be in this particular configuration. And these, were some of my personal thoughts on how they'd go. Fictional planes of Ace combat given new liveries based on real life livereis.
In this upload, I decided to make something rather unconventional but also quite cool if you ask me. I decided to take 4 of the fictional planes that this franchise has to offer, and give them "what if" real life Air Force liveries on the idea of what if these planes were made in real life and which countries would wanna have them in their inventory. And so I gave it some thought and came to conclusion that perhaps these 4 countries would wish to buy and operate them.
And so I picked 4 planes, them being the XFA-24A Apalis, YR-302 Fregeta, ADF-01 Falken and XFA-27 and gave each these real life air force liveries as followed:
- Royal Canadian Air Force XFA-24A Apalis (normal and low-vis)
- Swedish Air Force YR-302 Fregeta
- Ukrainian Air Force ADF-01 Falken
- Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force XFA-27
I do apologize for the errors that exist in these skins, as some were simply out of my capability to fix them. I did the best I could with them but I will release updates if I see need and desire to fix errors.
Installation is simple. Simply take the PNG files in the ZIP file and place it in:
"ppsspp/memstick/PSP/TEXTURES/ULUS10176/aircraft" directory and boom, you will view the skin in the game. This file includes several skins so they replace different skins themselves. The Apalis changes the Aurelian and Special 1 skin, The Fregeta replaces the Aurelian skin, the Falken replaces the Leasath skin and the XFA-27 replaces the Aurelian skin.
