Duel challenge 2 addon

////////// HOW TO PLAY //////////

Put the "duelsqw" map folder to: .../Call of Juarez/Data/mapscustom
Put the "mapsduelsQW" folder to: .../Call of Juarez/Data (the same folder where your mapscustom folder is located)


Launch the game -> select Load -> Custom Missions -> start the Duel Challenge 2 mission (if you can't see it in the list, one of the folders is not placed correctly)
(NOTE: I recommend having "mapscustom" folder in the main game folder, not in that one in documents folder - for Steam version, the path can be like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Juarez\Data".)



////////// Info about shaders 2.0 (DX9), 3.0 (DX9), and 4.0 (DX10) for the last map //////////

We recommend playing DX9 and using shader 3.0, because we can't make it as beautiful for other shaders as it is for shader 3.0 - you can set shader in Settings -> Video.

The DX10 version crashes if the backgroud picture has a huge resolution, so you have to change .mat file in mapsduelsQW/cosmos/objekti/WoodenWallB_lw_dyn_galaxy.mat (just rename the original one to "WoodenWallB_lw_dyn_galaxy_DX9.mat" and remove _DX10 from the name of the second .mat)

The grass .mat also has to be changed to work properly for DX10. Just go to mapsduelsQW/cosmos/Nature/Grass and change names like for the WoodenWallB_lw_dyn_galaxy.mat files (don't change .dds names!).

Don't forget to switch the names back if you would like to play on DX9 again.
