That from gamebanana
Yes, and I was the one who put it on gamebanana. ;)
Not everyone who visits moddb visits gamebanana, so I thought to spread the love (of m4s).
nice :D
It looks good, but there is one big problem present. It's extremely unrealistic. And right now I am not talking about the bright camos, becouse that's possible to achieve with spray and skill even in real life. The problem is that the details are not properly visible on these textures, which is a nonsense. I have painted many airsoft guns in my life, so I can tell you that this is not how it looks like. In real life every single screw, pin or gap between parts is clearly visible. After all, if it wasn't, it would mean that the paint has glued and sealed the parts and the gun thus could not be opened and repaired or cleaned, which would lead to malfunctions in real life.
Thank you for your interest and feedback Honza. :)

Granted this project I've uploaded is about 4 + years old, so I've refined much of my technique since then. Still, even back then I used the overlay method which allows for previous details to be preserved on the texture (pins, crevices, etc). If one examines the model with BFmeshview such details can still be seen.
Of course, if examined closely a user can also see where I didn't 'camo' parts not visible in 1st person to the player ingame. I'm certainly not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination. ;)
For some examples of my more recent work just visit gamebanana's BF2 section.
Thanks for sharing this!
Cool :D
