Version 1.12

The new update is now available for download. It is by far the biggest one yet and includes a completely new weapon arsenal, new dynamic weather, a new A-life managment system, graphical improvements such as Screen Space Shaders, numerous fixes, balance improvements and much more.

New Features (shortened):

  • Completely replaced the weapon arsenal with BaS + selected weapons from Gunslinger and others.
  • Added gunshot sound layering (different sounds for different distance ranges, JSRS style).
  • Replaced the weather with CGIM 2 with dynamic weather managment.
  • Added new a-life and respawn managment system from DSH.
  • Added visible 1st person body.
  • Added shader-based 2D scopes.
  • Added Screen Space Shaders.
  • Added support for laser sights and alternate aim positions.
  • Difficulty is now split into gameplay and economy difficulty (as in Anomaly). Both affect various factors of gameplay.
  • Added various new gameplay options to the menu.
  • Add the "Mysterious sniper" quest from RMA.
  • Added special exoskeleton use animations from Gunslinger.
  • And more... full detailed changelog + updated credits.

So I finally did a playthrough. Took me 60 hours according to Playnite. I think this is the most visually pleasing mod available (even including Anomaly and it's various addons like GAMMA) but damn does it run terrible at times. I messed hours with the graphics and just when you think "okay, this is nice and smooth" you get to another area in the game where it just tanks. I noticed a lot of the time none of the CPU cores are maxed and neither is the GPU (so nothing is bottlenecking hardware wise), like the engine itself just cannot handle everything at certain areas in the game. Crash-wise, it only happened when I sometimes saved and quickloaded right after (if I recall correctly). Overall very stable mod.

Oh one more thing I remembered which were actually the only annoying thing - at the Bar there are two sources of LOUD music blending into each other. Extremely disorienting. I could have probably just digged through the configs to find the fix but I ended up just muting my audio every time I got to Bar, lol.

Hi guys,

It’s a real pleasure playing this stand-alone mod. Million thanks for the great work to the developers as well as other fellow players who have contributed to this tremendous project.

Since I am from a country where Discord is blocked, I therefore fail to seek kind advice on the gameplay on Discord and I can only lay my inquiries here instead. My question is:

I have kicked off the mission “Trails of the Group” after I talked to the “agent” as instructed by Basta (the agent was killed by the unknown merc then). I followed the instructions and revisited Army Warehouse to talk to Skinflint but found out that Skinflint has been long dead in the previous mission. So I am stuck in the current mission now. Wonder if you guys would give me some advice, I know somehow the game would be tweaked but I am not from tech background and therefore I am still searching for any insights to see if I can do it myself.

Anyway thanks for your attention and hopefully someone would feel free to shred me some light on my headache at the moment.

Hi Guys. I accepted a mission to go down into the tunnels in Agroprom to find missing Dutiers in the catacombs. Before heading down I was warned by a Duty sniper on the roof that they had not had time to remove all the explosives that the military had put in place down in the tunnels to keep people out. Later after equipping myself with the right suit I found in a stash located by the downed chopper in the radar forest and wearing two shell artifacts I was able to survive the explosives. After battling various NPC's I came across a scientist who was very thankful that I saved his life. He told me about his buddies who were attacked by the military near the x18 laboratory in Dark Valley and asked if I could find his buddies of which some might still be alive. I found one scientist in a green trailer in Dark Valley who gave me further information about one of his friends escaping into the woods. He also told me that the military had closed the door in the X18 lab to the second level but he did not have the access code. He suggested that perhaps someone around the area might have that code. I already searched every dead body I could find including the first level of x18 but so far I have not found the access code to the second level entrance door in x18. This is not the collect all the documents mission which I already completed a long time ago so the previous door codes do not work. What am I missing here?

Supposedly I have already collected all the documents, in fact I think I discovered a bug that a stalker is inside the laboratory, supposedly I have already collected them all but the game is making me look like an idiot looking for that damn first part of the documents, yes I even already killed the poor stalker, help people
