I've just finished main storyline and got the task from Barman but I can't find the Duty squadron that I'm supposed to join and I have no indicator on the map. I tried to look for them in Agroprom but no luck. Where are they?

After the Barman go to Agroprom, there are many Duties. Find their commander, talk with him, find sniper (optional), talk with him, go down to the Agroprom undergrounds (for this you need transmutes or artifacts with explosion protection), find a couple of Duty corpses. You will notice that there is someone in the Gunslinger hiding place. Go there and be prepared to read very attentively every dialog. There'll be no marks on the map at all - only logic will help you.

Hi Yuri, thanks for help. I'm stuck again - I got first PDA from dark Valley and went to Yantar where dr. Sakharov sent me to X16. I've found another PDA there but I don't know whot to do next. I've tried to find any info from Sakharov, Barman and military at Agroprom, Freedom base but no luck...

Also, that special F8 save doesn't work for me.

You must find the case and document in x18, talk with scientist, then go to Sakharov, find document and PDA in x16. Again to Sakharov. He will tell about one stalker. You'll find him at Yantar plant. Talk with him and go to the Bar. There will be military attack. After that talk with Barman and be sure to read the dialogs very attentively. You can make screenshots of these dialogs just in case.

It seems I'm missing X16 documents - I've been there twice since starting that storyline

It's not horrible. Just return to x16 and find this doc. I can tell all the walkthru but hardly it would be interesting for you.

I have also a small question.
After playing through a part of the new story, I'm stuck waiting foran email about Shelestov. How long will it take and on what this timer depends(number of transitions between maps, elapsed time or something else).

Are you saying that there is no point in waiting for an email about Shelestov because it is a red herring?
All this waiting for nothing. They mentioned deadly anomalies, mutants, anarchist and bandits but no one warned me about cruel modders .

Yeah, cruel modders decided to finish such a way a-la Hollywood film makers Initially we planned to continue this storyline in 0693 but now we had gave up this idea because there will be many side quest lines in 0693.

Guys I have an issue with X-18 - the 2nd door (one with 1243 code) is closed and won't budge! I tried gun-dropping trick, but to no avail!

The dialogs tell you all you need. You have to find PDA in the freedom base and bring it to that guy. He will say where the next person.

I bought the PDA from the cook and that's the only piece of electronics I can find at Army Warehouses; problem is, this Scout guy doesn't give a damn about it haha.

Cool! No, it's wrong. The PDA is easy to find. Go to the main building at Freedom base.

Sorry, but I don't find the ass-kisser. After the PDA in the freedom base, Gena Gred says: "Close the military base, an abandoned village is mentioned." So I run to the Cordon but can't find anyone. So I look at the garbage, dark valley and agroprom.
Clearly something escapes me.

He's at the abandoned village. It's the village where controller and bloodsuckers live. Seach him there.

I found only his rifle. Restarting the search from the interview with Gena everything went well.

What should be next? I found this scientist and shown the knife to him but he did not give any information at all.

He did. He called his name. Now recall your last phrase: "He can't go away too far". So, thinking logically, he's somewhere near. Where the loner in the Dark Valley can be? Only at the farm near the DV-Cordon passage. Go there and find new stalker.

It's hard to assume that this Serega guy is a loner before even encountering him, but it makes sense why he is one; such maniac killer wouldn't be accepted in any faction.
