Really basic and quick made tutorial on how to i/e Stalker models using Blender and SDK.

A small and compact tutorial for newcomers, nice work. If only i had this when i started moding stalker XD. By the way, i think it's important to mention the HQ geometry box so that newcomers know that it keeps the model from losing it mesh shape (low polygon) as part of the basic's. Just a thought.

Right, I forgot about it. For most of time when editing default guns its not needed, but people will probably add bunch of small meshes to models.

Hi!

First of all, thank you so much! So there is a way to skip the Milkshape import/export disaster... :D
I also have a problem. When I import weapons from a mod (AO) and export them, then the Actor Editor complains something about normals and stops working. I believe it has something to do with the verticles not being welded, because if I weld them together in Milkshape and export, it works in AE/ingame (but messes up the meshes).
If you/anyone know what to do please let me know, because it drives me crazy!

Its pretty the same, plugin is in the same site, and installation is the same. Most of stuff is related to a bit stupid na chaotic new blender button/info configuration but tutorial cant help here, people just need to get used to it by them self really... even if for me its annoying(new blender hide most of stuff under buttons, there is lost of doubled tools and other weird stuff).

BUT

I have plan to make new tutorial, but dunno when I will make it...

you need to select bones before importing skl animations

I wish Blender would sort out how plugins get enabled/installed that window in 2.8 is a damn mess and not intuitive at all.

Hi

I can't install the plugin for blender. When dropping it manually in the addon folder the plugin isn't found in blender, and when installing it via blender I get the message that it was installed but no files are actually added...

Any idea what happen here? I use it to convert ump45.ogf in unpacked gunslinger.
