i keep making zombies but for some strange reason ever time i add blood,gore to a ped the game crashes

i mean if i add yellow blood its ok but red blood its not
comon someone is jinxing me here
any way im going to be making lots of zombies soon and i need a model sofware that is NOT 3DMAX so can somone recomend a moderling pack?
