Due to exams taking up almost all December and happy days of Christmas with our families and friends, we’re just currently unable to make the deadline (as many feared). Not everything is synced like we wanted it to be, and the thing we needed most, namely “respawning” has not been found by any of us. How many days it is going to take to get this, is unknown, and impossible to “guess”, like we’ve learned before.
So we’re truly sorry we couldn’t make this release. There is currently a list of things that is not done yet, that we all think are crucial to a good multiplayer game and experience that holds the release back. Sorry.
And it was of course, very stupid to promise a release like this.

Why not release the source code and make this an open source project, so maybe we can attract some developers that have brains and knowledge of writing code ON ******* TIME.

I think since 2007(P.S. it's 2013 now!), you had enough time to either finish the mod or release at least the beta version...
