Post news RSS We launched an 8-bit funding campaign and got featured on DIYgamer!

We've started up an 8-bit funding campaign to try raising funds to supplement incomes from our actual jobs to free up more time to ensure a more enjoyable BETA launch. While the success of the campaign will have no bearing on the November 16th launch, donations WILL help Tim and myself along with creating more launch content for the core game. We also got an article on DIYgamer, and have an interview coming up :D!

Greetings, Zombie Grinders!
It has unfortunately been an unproductive week on the progression side, as I've been out with a severe stomach virus. Tim however has been busy cracking away at new gameplay functions! We're concepting a "Save the survivors!" mode a la Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but we're adding a twist where the survivors walk along side you and you have to defend them from the horde, after finding them. We're also concepting beam-based weapons, for lazer guns or possibly electricity cannons :D Melee weapons are also right around the corner!! I'm very excited to announce that we've started an 8-bit funding campaign for Zombie Grinder as well, in hopes of earning $700 to allow us to focus more on the game, due to the nature of it being something of a hobby project. The campaign can be found @ 8bitfunding.com While the success of the campaign will not effect our projected MineCon release, any donations are appreciated and come with perks!

With the start of the campaign, DIYgamer caught wind of the game and wrote an article based on what little info I provided on the 8bf page! The article can be found @ Diygamer.com

Thank you all, again, for your interest in the project and please look forward to more exciting news coming up in the next few weeks! I'm off to draw some more graphics :)

Love,
Jordizzle!

Sounds great, I will see if I can manage to donate something, but I kinda doubt this, good luck with raising the funds guys, your game looks really good already.
