Valve has issued a press release announcing "a compilation of new VR experiences" called The Lab. Set in one of Portal's Aperture Science "pocket universes", The Lab will offer multiple room-scale VR experiences for the HTC Vive. The full text of the brief press release is below:

Valve has announced plans to debut “The Lab,” a compilation of new VR experiments, at next week’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, CA. Set in a pocket universe of Aperture Science, “The Lab” offers multiple ways to enjoy room-scale VR. It will be offered free of charge via Steam this spring. More information will be made available next week at GDC.

Aperture Science's pocket universes are likely referring to the miniature worlds inhabited by 2D stick figures that featured heavily in the marketing material for Portal. What was possibly an early version of one of these experiences was recently revealed when users datamined Valve's SteamVR Performance Test Tool.

We look forward to seeing what it's in store for The Lab at GDC.
