Lessons learned from Tsunami Rider can be broken down into four main ideas.

  1. Follow conventions so players can intuitively use your system
  2. Clearly communicate what is expected of the player via in game Tutorial/Tips
  3. Prototype user interface elements along with gameplay
  4. Back up your data! You will lose it!
