Hey everybody how's it going with all of you sorry for the late updates we have been busy working on this project and the results are coming out superb. Even though we have made outstanding progress on the level and character models our weapon models have been coming along with impressive results. The weapons have always been my favorite part of any project, and for this mod there are eight very powerful weapons (4 melee weapons/4 long range weapons), and seeing the process of line art, to digital painting, and to 3D models is truly powerful. As I have explained in the summary the player will be able to transform almost any item the eyes of Horus see fit into the weapon of the god deity of sky. All of the Melee weapons have been digital painted and modeled, the long range weapons are the next on our list and the shot gun was the first chose because of its powerful look. Laurent has already digital painted the concept art which came out beautiful, and now our weapon modeler (Kelvin Tam) has begun modeling out the shot gun as well. He has been showing me progress of the weapon's model for the last past weeks and have finally completed the highpoly model and will begin working on the low poly.
Kelvin has done well to keep the model close to the concept art as possible and is doing an incredible job. The shot gun will be held at the players side when in use from the way I have created it also you can see from the pictures as well.
While Laurent and Kelvin are working on the weapons I have completed a lot of tasks in the last few weeks, the breakable wall textures are done, I have modified and updated props/ textures for the level, completed the streets for the outside, and modified and textured the buildings for the outside environment for the level.
I have pictures to show you all of the buildings as well as the street that will be use for the level if any of you have any question or critic on them let me know I'm always willing to have everyone's input on everything. Donnell has made a lot of progress on the level creating original content to bring out the level's full effect also showing me a test of directional lighting for the environment to have an outside lit environment that could bring out the full effect of the level's textures.
He has not show me to much yet on his progress, but from what he has told me I know the level will look powerful, so I can't wait to see what progress he has made once he has updated the level on 4share. He has taken a break from Jericho for a moment to complete the level, but once he is do with his part he will get back to work on him and will have him done soon as possible.
