The title of this news entry just about says it all. I've been able to dedicate more time to testing the levels lately and everything is looking great. Only a few minor details have needed to be fixed. With my current progress, I should need about another two weeks to finish testing all the maps, unless some major problem arises. I don't foresee anything major, however, because I've been the slowest of the testers and the other testers, who've finished the game, have already discovered the major issues.

I've posted another nice outdoor screenshot. Check it out. It also shows a slightly changed status bar. Instead of episodes like the original Wolfenstein 3D, the game has continuous play, like Spear of Destiny. However, I've opted to call each 'mini-episode' an act and each map within an act is called a scene to mimic the outline of theatrical plays because Orb tries to involve the player into the storyline a bit more than the original games.

I got very lucky with this project because everyone who contributed has been a wonderful help and surpassed my expectations and hopes for the game.

As for a due date, I still fret setting one in stone, but I would say either May or June. Perhaps I should say June 11 since that is exactly three years after I first wrote down the ideas for a game then titled "Dungeon of Destiny". :)

And of course, the day after posting this news article, I found a pretty major bug, which will take some time to fix. :(

OK, I believe that the bug has been fixed. I'm testing it further to be sure, but the quick tests looked positive.
