Hey Fans,

We have some real good news bits for you today.

First off, Psy| and Pelezo have been working on updating the website a bit as promised. Pelezo designed a new way to pick the teams when you click media. Psy| has been working on the media section getting the renders ready for the website; we have a little bit up so far, but expect a huge increase in number of renders in there per day.

Next, Pavel has been drawing like crazy! The UN Airfield concept just came in yesterday from him and its spectacular!

UN Air Field

The UN Airfield will be used to bring in supplies. A scheduled drop will come every day in the much talked about “Stand Off (RTS)” mode for the United Nations and it’s going to be the player’s job to protect this drop in because without it there wont be any special weapons, vehicles, or supplies for requesting more items. So protect that drop soldier!

The Bell 47, i.e. the “M*A*S*H*” unit, has been completed by Emperor Chuck. The level of detail that has been put into this model is nothing short of stunning. In the past there have been issues with people claiming that “this will never work in Far Cry” but this is just the normal map version, if your computer can run far cry, then it will be able to handle TFW.

Last but certainly not least, the HUD mock up. DTB was given this task in order to bring something intuitive and fresh to the gaming scene. To say the least it is very impressive and we believe that it will set a new standard, though we would prefer to let you be the judge of that. The video is an AVI file and weighs in around 2.99 MB in AVI format.

Also, the forums are great place to read and ask questions and have a great time with other TFW fans, so stop by, leave a message or just answer to posts by people with your similar interests.

One more thing, PC Gamer UK, as promised in the past, published an article about TFW. You can preview a little clip of it below but in order to view the whole thing you’ll have to go buy a copy!

Note - This is not all of the article, to view the full article please go to your local store and pick up a copy.

This is all for this week, until we post again, protect your self soldier!

Thanks
The ‘TFW’ Team
