The testing of test installer #3 is coming to a conclusion.
The results have been great since there have been much less bugs coming back.
From the results so far I can say that the installer works very well on Win XP, 2000 and NT. It works well on ME and Windows 98.
The test installer #4 will be the final test version before BFME comes out. BFME comes out in December, 2004 so soon after it is released (4 weeks or so after).
Version 1 of the installer pack will include the thorough manual, website links, support, scripts etc.
The installer at that point may have a filesize of about 3MB not 2MB as earlier stated.
