A report on the work on locations in the “Shadow of Chernobyl: Update 2.0” modification has been published.
At the moment, the Radar level is being finalized. The author decided not to use only dead vegetation in the location, since during tests this did not seem to him the best idea. Therefore, in some places completely ordinary, green vegetation will appear.
It was also announced that the project would collaborate with the Live Zone modification. Its author provided the files necessary for the work, however, due to the large size of the Pripyat location, it will not be possible to use it in full. However, a lot of work has been done and the level is currently undergoing filling.
In addition to the locations, work was also carried out on other components, but they promise to talk about this in the next news video!
We are also working on character models and NPCs. The developer presented an image of a fighter from the Dolg group. Reportedly, work on the model pack is being carried out in collaboration with the author of the Anomaly Original Models REWORK project .
