Anubis again, with a quick update. I've recorded a vlog entry demonstrating most of the warships of the mod, and showing off the scale comparisons. Also, on the coding end, we've finished hard pointing almost all of the ships, all of the weapons and ships for the internal combat test have been written, and our texture artist, Darkfire, as you can see in the Images section, has been hard at work turning out great textures.

Most of the team will be taking a break this coming week, because we all have Finals scheduled. So after that, we do plan to have actual gameplay footage from our internal test builds, so watch for that in the coming weeks. So without further rambling on my part... more rambling on my part!

Awesome update. The scale is pretty epic.

My only neg is some of the covenant vessels are sort of out of character. I would mostly point to the visible weapons (communications?) mounts on some of them, and the wings on the attack cruiser are not really fitting in their style. The last battle cruiser doesn't really fit either, not angular enough somehow...

Then again they're all still killer. Great update!

We're operating under the assumption that there are 3 major design styles in Covenant ships. Elite/Sanghelli, Prophet/San'Shayuum, and Kig-Yar/Jackal, since those were the 3 original spacefaring races of the Holy Covenant. The other races were non spacefaring at contact. The CAF is a Kig-Yar design, so is the CC and the FFB. Elite/Sanghelli design is what you see in the Assault Carrier and the Truth and Reconciliation battlecruiser, as well as the CL, FF, DDS+ FFE, DDH, CLS, CLB and CV. The Prophets have the DN, the DD, and the CA.
