Never-Ending High Fantasy Multi-Media Saga Accepting Beta Testers in Anticipation of Fall Release
Online Fantasy Series Reaches Beta-Test Mode
POMPANO BEACH, Florida ? July 8, 2006- Legends of Mernac, an on-line series of interlinked stories (contributed by various authors from around the world) spanning a 10,000 year history of a mythical world named MERNAC, is now accepting Beta Testers. In Legends of Mernac, fantasy short stories and multi-volume sagas are illustrated with exceptional art (also contributed by various artists from around the world). All stories, sagas, and art are all connected by series of ?LINKS? maintaining a streamlined commonality throughout the ?world?. Public access to all stories is provided at no cost.
The developers of MERNAC are also working on additional phases which are slated to include music and/or soundtracks, RPG Gaming, animations, movie clips, and, eventually, full-feature movies. All of these functions will be available to the public-at-large, providing users a means to create their own ?LEGENDS? in the world of MERNAC.
An added positive aspect for the amateur and professional author and/or artist is the capability of financial compensation for contributions of prose and art. This on-line world has opened new creative avenues for yet undiscovered talent to exercise and express their creativity, as well as, simply providing a ?full-menu? of complimentary fantasy entertainment for the general public.
Legends of Mernac is currently in the Beta-Test mode and currently accepting applications for Beta-Testers. Any interested party should send an email briefly telling why they would be a good candidate for this project to: betatester@mernac.com. If selected, an emailed reply with a link to the site along with further instructions will be provided.
Founder of LEGENDS OF MERNAC, Rick Merriman, has based his creation on a philosophy of people helping people. The goal being thousands of talented (yet undiscovered) writers, artists, musicians, programmers, promoters or business people provided an outlet for their passions and a possible ultimate escape from the standard 9-5 job. According to Mr. Merriman, ?The Bottom line: I believe that the surest path to success is to help other people become successful. I believe that after providing my family with a comfortable living (and a way for others [who contribute to, or promote Mernac] to provide their families with a comfortable living) that the bulk of any profits should be used to fund and help talented people create their art.?
