"The only limit to my power is my imagination."

The young Jedi who would become the enigmatic Praxis started out as a simple pupil in the Jedi Order. He was by no means ordinary, though, even by the standards of the Jedi. It wasn't long before he was a Jedi Knight, and he was young enough at that point to be considered something of a prodigy. Despite his youth, and often against the urging of his Jedi comrades, he kept track of, and participated in, many of the conflicts that plagued the galaxy; through observance of the brutality of both the Republic and the Sith, the tactics and results of confrontations between the two factions, and one or two close brushes with skirmishes himself, Korhol became a cunning tactician. His knowledge began to expand beyond what the Jedi traditionally taught, and it wasn't long before Korhol felt constrained by the Jedi Order and started searching for an out. He found it in a fellow Force prodigy, Aaron Karax.

The two became fast friends and worked together throughout many of the bloody campaigns between the Jedi and the Sith; Korhol's skill and reputation grew on the battlefield, and before long that reputation forged a fitting moniker for one of the fiercest and most cunning fighters on the front lines: "The Dreadnaught". After many, many glorious and bloody battles, Umbra and Karax decided to leave the Jedi Order for good; the decision had been made ages ago, but had never been made official. They departed for Firrerre, an outer-rim world considered peaceful, taking a handful of friends and followers. There they established the Grey Jedi Order, with the more experienced Karax taking Umbra under his wing. Under the two of them, the Grey Jedi flourished and grew stronger. With some help from Karax, Umbra found new meaning in the Force, realizing that there is no light or dark: there is just the Force, and how one chooses to wield it. During this time, Korhol began the first of a series of experiments that would continue on for ages. His subject: the manipulation of midichlorians. Unfortunately, unrest in the galaxy coupled dangerously with the growing strength of the Grey Jedi, and, spurred in part by the Sith warlord, and Karax's old rival, Darth Kairn, a furious battle was engaged in the skies above Firrerre, a battle that left the Grey Jedi in ruins. While Korhol and Karax held out for a long while, the combined Mandalorian Navy overwhelmed the two; Korhol narrowly escaped at the cost of his flagship, the Ragnarok.

Korhol retreated to the shadows, deciding to play the long game. It was at this point that he went back to his experiments, but this time what he lacked were resources. Supplies and chemicals were easy enough to obtain. The problem was always test subjects. So he often used himself. These experiments had impressive effects, prolonging his life, perhaps indefinitely, significantly bolstering his physical strength, as well as further enhancing his body's natural healing abilities. Sadly, these experiments had drawbacks as well, and to this day Korhol must take a large amount of various drugs in order to suppress the side effects of the mutagens.

Upon hearing rumors that his old master had escaped (or been set loose), Korhol decided to come out of the shadows once more, abandoning the title of the Dreadnaught and taking on a new one: Praxis.

Korhol came back under the banner of the Sith, and though treated with suspicion, he was for the most part left to his own devices. His skill, however, could not be denied, and he quickly rose through the ranks; when Darth Kairn, in an act that shocked everyone, sacrificed himself to destroy the Silentium, Korhol was at the head of the "vulture race" to reclaim the territory lost to the ruthless droids.

For a time Korhol, now known publicly to all as Praxis, was able to continue his research in peace as the galaxy recoiled and recovered from the war that had ravaged it not weeks ago. Korhol expected rivals to try and challenge his position, but the greatest of all these challenges, surprisingly enough, came from his former master; Aaron Karax joined the Sith under the title of Darth Veritum, wielding far more power than he had ever possessed in the past. It wasn't long before Korhol's old master had once again become a rival.

It was during this time that Korhol's use of the Force started to wear on his mind; he started seeing enemies everywhere, and at one point he even skirted with madness; the appearance of his old master, along with news that two of his advisers were planning to betray him, drove him over the edge and he fled to the Red Nebula, to his hideout, activating in secret a failsafe that effectively left the Sith defenseless as the newly founded Galactic Alliance launched a major attack. This attack, along with his own thoughts, led Korhol to conclude that he had been wrong to join the Sith. However, his crippling of the Sith defenses went unknown to the Galactic Alliance, who launched an attack on the Red Nebula, even as Korhol organized his forces to rejoin the galaxy under the banner of the Galactic Alliance; with few options, the former Sith used his own flagship as a decoy, setting a detonator to keep the advancing forces clear. He then escaped with what he could take, leaving the Red Nebula to destruction; in this time, he focused on honing his thoughts and ensuring that the madness that almost overtook him would never return.

It wasn't long before he returned, his control over his mind stronger than ever. To his surprise, however, he found that the Sith were still in power; there had been a power shift and a bloody campaign, and at the end of it all, the Empire was reestablished, with the Jedi and the remnants of the Galactic Alliance in hiding.

Korhol appreciated this time, as he was able to put his mind back towards his experiments. However, it wasn't long before he received a message from the last person he had come to expect: it was his old master, one of the triumvirate helping to rule the Empire, asking Korhol to turn against them. Putting camaraderie above the well-being of the Sith, Korhol obliged, gathering his resources, pausing his experiments, and organizing a little surprise. In a grand gesture, he once again disabled Coruscant's defenses, leaving it open for the now powerful rebellion to take. Korhol once more retreated into the shadows, though no longer as so much of a fugitive.

After a while, Korhol started to make breakthroughs with his experiments, but at the same time, he had other obligations to fulfill. While Karax had retreated to his corner of the galaxy, not likely to be seen again, Korhol had fully embraced the identity of Praxis, pledging his resources to the Federation; in stark contrast to his much earlier personas, Korhol's objective is the extermination of the Sith and any in the Empire who aid them. To what end he will take this with his newly found power in the Federation is to be determined...

I don't think this is accurate.

Remember; we set the RP back in time. Before a lot of things happened.

Don't remember it being set back in time. Just changed up to be more reasonable.

Nope. Everything before the whole Fel Empire happened as-is.

We all seem to have conflicting ideas on what happened.

"The RP as you knew it stopped at the formation of the Fels. Everything after that is either deleted or edited."

Ten's words, not mine. Everything before happened as-is. Everything after this:

is either edited or deleted.
