First off, let me say thanks for your support this year. If you're already on the mailing list then you will have received my thanks already, but just in case you're not...cheers!
Development this year has been quite a struggle - we have all been trying to juggle work on the game as well as the contract work, and other paid pursuits that keep our bodies and souls together. Building buzz for an indie game by an unknown company before you have glossy videos available is very hard, but you guys have proved that talking about our game in public is the best way of attracting new people.
That's why we'd love it if the ModDB community were to vote us into the awards as Upcoming Indie Game of the Year 2009 - this position would mean the world to us, as well as bringing in a lot of new members to our community. We need this game to be a success, and we want players to get the most out of it they can - the bigger the community, the better the game!
Here's our little video to ask you for your vote - just sign in and go to our main page, then click the huge button. Thanks to Robin for making this - make sure you watch to the end...
I'm still on course to finish a new music track soon, and I'll be releasing that as soon as we hit 200 followers, as promised. Ian and Robin are working hard testing the new components of multiplayer, and we'll be unveiling those next year.
Have a good Christmas and I'll see you all soon! Remember to go here if you want to vote.
(Please track our updates! We try to make each one as amusing and informative as possible. Remember, don't click this button if you are already tracking - it will make you stop tracking! This is the opposite of what we want!)
(If you join our mailing list, we will use it only to send you important Frozen Synapse and Mode 7 Games updates. These will be very infrequent and guaranteed to be interesting! We will never, ever give or sell your precious juicy email to any naughty people - promise).
